Fascinating

Like Spinning is a London/Oslo based band, which consists of:
Kari Kamrud Jahnsen: Songwriter, vocals, acoustic guitar
Jacob Mangaliso Berry: Electric guitar
Martin Berger: Bass
Jørgen Nordby: Drums
Eva Moa: Backing vocals, clarinet

Studying music at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Kari started Like Spinning in 2009. After moving back to Oslo and playing around town for a couple of years, she now lives in East London playing in various London venues. With influences like Diane Cluck, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, CocoRosie, Joanna Newsom, Midlake and Warpaint she combines ethereal vocals with melancholy indie.

So Kari did the opposite journey to me, I went from the East End to Oslo. Well at least they get less snow in the East End, although this year they are gonna be trampled by tourists. They have a little party call the Olympics coming up.
