Renée is: Renée Sys, Eva Bruneel, Stijn Engels, Gunter Deleu, Pieter Elias. They hail from Brugge in Belgium.
Renée makes porcelain whisper-pop with her heart on her sleeve and, together with her band, she translates this into an intricate web in which an occasional instrumental melody sparkles. Their album ‘Extending Playground‘ will be released on Zealrecords. Wouter Vlaeminck (Tomàn) and Mathijs Bertel (Ansatz Der Maschine) did the recording. Dum Dum Dum I wrote this song exactly 3 years ago for my man because we were far away from each other at that time. I was in Helsinki and he was in Belgium. Tonight I'm home alone and in the meantime I've already shared this song through the Belgian airwaves and the response is really heartwarming.
