Carrie Manolakos is a singer-songwriter and actress.
She launched her debut album, Echo, in April 2012, with a concert at Le Poisson Rouge in Greenwich Village.
She ended the show with a cover of "Creep", by Radiohead - it went viral days later, when it got picked up by Gawker, under the title "Eargasm."
Carrie Manolakos is a former Broadway star.
She earned critical praise for her earnest rendition of Sophia Sheridan in Mamma Mia! (2008) and Elphaba, the Green Witch, in the second national tour of Wicked.
And did I mention she sings one of the ultimate versions of one of my favorite songs.
