Melodie Nelson, not to be confused with the young lady in Ballade de Melody Nelson by Jane Birkin e Serge Gainsbourg, is a band from Australia. They have a new album available, Meditations On The Sun.
The band is made up of:
Travis Baird - Guitar
Hugh Boyce - Drums
Kell Derrig-Hall - Bass
Sar Friedman - Backing Vocals
Lia Tsamoglou - Vocals, Keys, Guitar
Or then again Melodie Nelson could just be Lia Tsamoglou. Who knows?
Either way she/they produce a cool dreampop / shoegaze kind of sound. Check them out for yourself.
