Chantel McGregor

Chantel McGregor is a young lady from Yorkshire, who kicks butt with her amazing blues guitar playing and singing. She is the real deal. She started playing guitar at the ripe old age of three, and hasn't looked back. I have just been listening to her first album, with just three "cover" songs, the other nine tracks being written by Chantel. Pretty impressive for someone so young, and on a debut album to boot.
In September 2011, Chantel was voted 'Young Artist Of The Year' at the British Blues Awards. But what you are here for is the music, so let's get to it, you'll like what you hear.

First up a Jimi Hendrix classic.
Red House

Jimi Hendrix classic blues song done well by the brilliant Chantel McGregor. Filmed at the great Rock and Blues weekend held at Butlins in Skegness. Chantel went down a storm.

Then we follow up with a Robin Trower piece.

And now we have an amazing original by Chantel, with a bit of the Kashmir vibe.

And finally today, this is another Chantel original from her album.
