Catself is a young lady from Finland.
Catself wrote her first songs when she was 13 and got her first guitar - the first thing she earnt. Before that, there were stories and poems and melodies in her head. After that, there were years of playing for friends and later, in pubs, but music remained on the side while Catself did various studies (including an MA in English) and many very different jobs in a few countries.Catself is Agnieszka Holm and she Studied Wilderness Guide at Eerikkilä Urheiluopisto (Eerikkilä Sports College), not that it has anything to do with her singing. I just love the concept of the multiple letters in the Finnish language. It's always been a disappointment to me that although I lived in Norway and visited Sweden and Denmark I never made it to Finland, all of the Finns I've met in my travels have been beautiful people.
Enough of that, let's get to the music. You are just going to love this young ladies voice, and shes a very cool songwriter too.
In the Port of Amsterdam. sounds like the cue for a song. So what we have here is a beautiful young lady on a sunny day on a cool boat in the Port of Amsterdam singing a beautiful song. What could be wrong with that?
