Daisy McCrackin

Local lady does good, no not good, does great.  You have to have seen Daisy in one or more of her movies, but did you know she was a singer? A very good singer at that.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Daisy McCrackin moved to Los Angeles to further her career as an actress. Appearing in such films as 3000 Miles to Graceland and Halloween, Daisy found herself broadening her artistic horizons and focusing on music. Filled with honesty and haunting beauty, Daisy takes on unusual subjects in a deceptively simple lyrical format that draws the listener quickly. Taking a page out of the prolific songwriter book, Daisy draws comparisons to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Suzanne Vega and Nancy Sinatra. Daisy McCrackin is truly unique, and is ready to take on the world. One ghost at a time.

An amazing song, with an amazing video. She is most definitely not invisible, she should be appearing before more and more people as a musician with this release.

The eerie video, which stars McCrackin, has a vintage feel that will surely make you uneasy. Taking pills, and smoking cigarettes, Daisy prepares for what seems to be her last night with her lover, and possibly herself. Feeling disconnected from who she is, the distraught songstress breaks down and truly becomes a ghost. Or is the unseen "ghost" just a metaphor for her inner self trying to be seen? Transparent images fill the screen throughout, as the look of an old film becomes prominent. At the end, it is unclear exactly what happens to young Daisy, but you can see that she finally feels free.
