Loch Lomond

Ahh! Loch Lomond, no not the most beautiful spot in Scotland and certainly not the local pretender. This Loch Lomond is the band of outsiders who could.
An Indie Chamber Folk band from Portland, Oregon.
After a string of head-turning, critically acclaimed releases on Hush Records, Portland's Loch Lomond has brought their unique brand of raw symphonic chamber pop to Tender Loving Empire. Loch Lomond has slated their much anticipated second full length 'Little Me Will Start A Storm' for release on Tuesday, February 22nd 2011 on CD, Vinyl and Digital.
The album was mixed by Adam Selzer (who has recorded all of M Ward's records), Tucker Martine (Laura Veirs, The Decemberists), Kevin Robinson (of Viva Voce), and Jeff Stuart Saltzman. The stunning track "Elephants & Little Girls," the first single, is available to listen to right now!
They make some of the most beautiful mellow laid back music you could ever wish to hear.

Check out these samples.

This is a live performance from March 14, 2009 at Mississippi Studios, Portland, Oregon, USA. How cool is it to have a song called Carl Sagan!!
