The sessions were actually back in 2008, as I blogged at the time.
But they have finally released seven tracks as part of the Record Store Day special, a limited edition release "Live from the Legendary Sun Studio" was made available April 21, 2012.
You could even consider this as a teaser for New album "The Lion The Beast The Beat" out June 12th!
But then one can never have too much Grace Potter.
