Swaying Wires is a Turku based lo-fi indie/folk band formed in 2010. The story of Swaying Wires started in the studio apartment of singer-songwriter Tina Kärkinen. The band formed around Tina when guitarist Sami Lehtonen, bass player/ accordionist Nicklas Hägen and drummer Jussi Virkkumaa joined the band.
'Blinding Nights' is one of the earliest recordings of Swaying Wires (fall, 2011), which was later discovered by Jukka Lahtinen from Lionheart Records. Since then they have produced some amazing songs and Tina has a voice to die for.
'Blinding Nights' is a song about those evenings, that turn into nights, that turn into mornings. It's about that surreal feel you get.
It also to a degree explains the bands name, the guitar playing on this track kind of reminds you of big wires, clashing together - but in a good way.
