This is just wonderful, a classic honky tonk harmony duo from Royal Oak, near Detroit.
The new honky tonk vocal duo, Some Velvet Evening, dedicated to exploring humanity's everlasting fragility. The sultry songstress of swoon, Carrie Shepard and that smilin' dutch cowboy John Holk specialize in close harmony as practiced by the great high lonesome crooners of yesteryear, and will honor the occasional request (but only if written on a scrap of onionskin and tossed off the nearest pier in an empty wine bottle).
When you see this first video step back and realize it was filmed within the last couple of months, it's really not an oldie from the 50's. Brilliant.
