Happy Particles hail from Glasgow, Scotland and they are:

Al Doherty - guitar, bass
Steven Kane - guitar, vocals, laptop, piano, glockenspiel
Graeme Ronald - bass
Ricky Egan - guitar
James Swinburne - rhodes piano, saxophone
Not sure if they are shoegaze or slow-core melodists, but they have been compared to Sigur Ros which is high praise indeed. They have just released their new album "Under Sleeping Waves". Check it out.
