Felicity Groom is a singer songwriter from the west coast of Australia, playing a kind of dark folk music heavily inspired by blokes like Nick Cave, Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen; and ladies like Kate Bush, Francois Hardy and Melanie.
I'm not sure why we always look to compare one singer with another. Felicity Groom is unique in her voice, style and song choice. And she is a pleasure to listen to and watch.
Just be happy that this young lady from the land down under is spreading her talent to the world. Check out her new album, Gossamer.
