Cub Scouts are an energetic Brisbane based 5 piece that have been crafting their own style of indie pop music over the last 18 months. Their latest single, Evie, is an exploration into new sounds and stories, and is the first single from an upcoming EP recorded with Melbourne producer, John Castle (The Boat People, Dan Parsons, Washington, The Cat Empire).
Cub Scouts have been performing in and around Brisbane, sharing the stage with local and national names including The Belligerents, Comic Sans, Charlie Mayfair, The Former Love, Montpelier, Tin Can Radio, Drawn From Bees and Hello Yoko.
Evie is the first single from Cub Scouts’ new EP due to be released in early 2012. Inspired by a dog (of all things) and complete with steel drums, Evie is something colourful, charming, and sure to have you singing along before the song is over!
