Mariee Sioux (born February 4, 1985) is an American folk singer-songwriter. Her father Gary Sobonya is a mandolin player of Polish and Hungarian descent, and her mother Felicia is of Spanish, Paiute, and Indigenous Mexican descent.And we've been waiting since 2007 for a follow up album, well now the long wait is over. The new "Gift for the end" is now available. It makes a fine companion piece to the EP "Bonnie And Mariee" that was recently released with Bonnie Prince Billy.
