I stumbled across a Jigsaw an Americana band and really enjoyed their music, and was a little surprised to find out they were from Portugal. Listen to these first two videos and tell me whether they sound like they come from this side of the pond or not.
The first track, The Strangest Friends, is from their new album Drunken Sailors and Happy Pirates. And it sounds like it should be on such a named album. Very evocative of old time shanties with an updated rhythm.
